Destination Ko Yao Noi

Ko Yao Noi is a small island east of Phuket. You can grab a speed boat shuttle and get there in about thirty minutes. We chose to go the local way on a longtail boat that takes twice the amount of time. But sometimes you need to slow down in life!

On the way to Yao Noi you pass thru these beautiful clear waters and see the views of the neighboring islands that make Phang Nga Bay famous.

As were reaching Ko Yao Noi we see a restaurant on the shore that we hope to try later

Once we arrived at Ko Yao Noi we grabbed a local open air taxi to take us around the island and to our villa for the night.

These Taxis are used throughout Thailand for a inexpensive form of travel

Road on Yao Noi

Although Yao Noi is small you still have areas that are remote and lined with rubber trees.

You see tropical fruits growing along the road slowly ripening

Fishing Boats

Fishing is still an important income for many of the locals and you will see boats waiting to go our for their next catch

One of the more known beaches is Pasai Beach. Located in the middle of the island the Main road passes this area. Lined with trees there are over a dozen swings hanging their waiting for a photo op.
